After three fights in Saudi Arabia, Agit Kabayel is celebrating his comeback in Germany. He meets heavyweight giant Damian Knyba in Oberhausen.

Agit Kabayel returns to the German stage. On January 10, 2026, the unbeaten fighter from Bochum (26-0, 18 knockouts) will return to the ring in the Rudolf Weber Arena in Oberhausen. After three sensational appearances in Saudi Arabia, Kabayel will be celebrating his eagerly awaited home comeback. His opponent has now also been confirmed: Damian Knyba, 29 years old, 2.01 meters tall and unbeaten in 17 professional fights to date (11 knockouts). The Pole is currently regarded as the best heavyweight prospect in his country and is no stranger to international fights.
Knyba is a physically superior opponent – almost ten centimetres taller than Kabayel – and one who has already gained valuable experience as a sparring partner of Zhilei Zhang. The same Zhang that Kabayel stopped in Riyadh in May with a dominant victory with body shots. The evening is being organized in cooperation with Queensberry Promotions and will be broadcast live on DAZN. An official press conference is scheduled for next week in Düsseldorf.
A duel with Britain’s Daniel Dubois, which was recently the subject of speculation, now seems to be off the table for good. Kabayel now has a different focus: a glittering comeback in front of his home crowd – and the next step on the way to the big title.
