The Reeperbahn will become a boxing stage: on May 1, “Rumble On The Reeperbahn” will be an international event at Große Freiheit 36. In the main fight, Fai Phannarai Netisri will be going for the next title. The German-based Thai is the reigning WBF World Super Bantamweight Champion and is now moving down a weight class to fight Lena Venjacob for the vacant WBF World Bantamweight title. It is a great opportunity for both of them to make a name for themselves at international level.

The event is also well-staffed with title fights. Alexander Pavlov is to fight for the vacant WBF welterweight world title, but an opponent has not yet been determined. He will also be moving down in weight after competing for a WBF title at super-middleweight last year. In the heavyweight division, there will also be a landmark duel between Steve Robinson from Great Britain and Angelo Venjakob. Both are fighting for the vacant WBF International title and want to make up ground after difficult phases in their careers.

With three title fights and a special backdrop in St. Pauli, the boxing evening in Hamburg promises plenty of sporting excitement.
