Boxing world champion Tina Rupprecht showed a completely different side of herself on social media for World Children’s Day in Augsburg: At the city’s family festival, the likeable professional boxer read to children from the classic children’s book “Das kleine Ich bin Ich” – one of her own favorite books from childhood. Rupprecht thanked all the visitors on Instagram, but especially the children: “Thank you to everyone who came – especially the children who listened so well and took part.” With her reading, she sent a strong signal for diversity and self-confidence – in the spirit of the popular picture book.
