SES Boxing Gala in Aschersleben with two title fights

On December 7, 2024, the Ballhaus Arena in Aschersleben will become the center of German boxing. With two international title fights and numerous top-class fights, the SES Boxing Gala promises an exciting evening of boxing.

Local hero Julian Vogel (21), unbeaten WBO junior world champion at half-middleweight, will defend his title for the first time in his home town of Aschersleben. His opponent is Lübeck’s John Bielenberg (22), a former successful amateur boxer who is moving up to half-middleweight for this fight. Both fighters represent the strong up-and-coming talent in German boxing. For Vogel, who already became a crowd favorite when he won the title in April, this fight will be a special challenge: “The first title defense is always the hardest.”

Second main event: German duel for WBA Continental title

SES boxer Artur Reis (13-1, 9 knockouts) and Artur Ohanyan Beck (9-0, 4 knockouts) from “Team Germany” will meet in the super middleweight division. The experienced Reis brings the routine of a world championship fight into the ring, while the technically adept Beck wants to extend his unbeaten professional record. The fight for the WBA Continental title promises pure excitement.

More fights at the SES Gala

In addition to the main fights, other talented boxers from “Team Germany” will also be in the spotlight:

  • Robin Rehse (11-0) fights in his first 8-round fight against Poland’s Adam Cieslak.
  • Richard Meinecke (3-0) will face the unbeaten Tomas Vesely from the Czech Republic.

Armend Xhoxhaj (cruiserweight), Alexander Chupil (super middleweight) and Gol Agha Haddi (super bantamweight) will also be competing in the Ballhaus Arena. The SES Boxing Gala will be broadcast live on the MDR program “SPORT im Osten – Boxen live” from 10.15 pm. Tickets are available at www.eventim.de and at all advance booking offices.
