The boxing year 2025 begins with a loud bang! On February 15, Felix Sturm, one of Germany’s most successful and charismatic boxers, will make his comeback against Benjamin Blindert. Germany’s boxing event of the year will take place in the ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm against a gigantic backdrop. Sturm Boxing is cooperating with Berlin promoter Ingo Volckmann and his AGON Sports. And the anticipation for the boxing evening on February 15, 2025 in the ratiopharm Arena continues to grow: In addition to the main fights Felix Sturm vs. Benjamin Blindert and Vincenzo Gualtieri vs. Alexander Pavlov II, fans can also look forward to the appearances of Hamsat Shadalov and Paul Wall. The Berlin boxers stand for spectacular performances in the ring and want to make another statement in Neu-Ulm.

Shadalov wants to lay the foundation for title fight

Hamsat Shadalov, one of Germany’s most technically skilled boxers, will once again prove his talent. The 26-year-old super featherweight is known for his fast hands and precision. With an impressive record as an amateur and great potential, the Olympic participant is regarded as one of the biggest talents in German boxing. “I’m currently preparing in Mallorca. This preparation is the most important thing for me and so far everything is going according to plan. My goal is to remind everyone in Neu-Ulm that I’m the number one in my weight class in Germany,” says Shadalov. “My goal for 2025 is to box for a title. I’m laying the foundation for this in Neu-Ulm. I’m delighted to be able to showcase my skills in front of a large audience on the undercard of German boxing legend Felix Sturm!”

Wall: “I want to make an exclamation mark!”

Shadalov will be joined in the ring by Paul Wall, the Berlin super welterweight. Like Hamsat Shadalov, the 27-year-old is a close friend of German rap star Kontra K, who has supported and promoted both of them for many years. Wall suffered a broken jaw in his last fight in October 2024, which has since healed. Wall nevertheless won his toughest fight to date on the undercard of the IBF World Championship fight with AGON’s William Scull early in the seventh round. Now he wants to extend his winning streak (currently eight wins in eight fights as a professional) and work towards a title shot. “Training is going great again after my broken jaw. Hamsat has been in Mallorca at the training camp since the beginning of the week. I’m flying over on Sunday. We are now starting the sparring phase. So far everything is going well. I want to make my mark again in Neu-Ulm and recommend myself for a title fight this year,” Wall explains confidently.

The fights between Shadalov and Wall are part of a high-caliber event presented by AGON Sports and Sturm Boxing. With a combination of title fights and performances by top talents, the evening promises to be an unforgettable experience for all boxing fans. Tickets for Germany’s boxing event of the year with Felix Sturm in the main fight are available from www.ticketmaster.de and all known ticket agencies. Information on the other fights on February 15 in the ratiopharm Arena in Neu-Ulm will follow in the next few days.
