He beat Spence, demystified Canelo – and is now leaving. Terence Crawford ends his career without any unfinished business.

Terence Crawford has achieved enough – and is calling it a day. Just three months
Crawford made boxing history with his clear points victory over Canelo in September: he became the first man in the four-belt era to become undisputed world champion in three weight classes. Offers for further mega-fights, including a lucrative rematch, were already on the table. But Crawford deliberately decided against it.
“I wasn’t chasing belts or money, I was chasing that feeling of proving all the doubters wrong,” explains Crawford. The victories against Errol Spence Jr. and Canelo Alvarez in particular showed him that his path was complete.
The boxer from Omaha ends his career with an unblemished record of 42 wins without defeat. “I’m leaving on my own terms,” emphasizes Crawford – a sentence that reflects his entire career. The ring loses a champion, but boxing gains a legend.
