Nelvie Tiafack is about to take the next major step in his still-young professional career. The Olympic bronze medalist will make his professional debut in the U.S. on August 21 at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula. The Cologne native’s opponent is the also-undefeated Mexican Salvador Zavala. The six-round heavyweight bout will take place as part of an event organized by Most Valuable Promotions, Jake Paul’s boxing promotion company. Tiafack heads to California with a perfect record of four wins in four professional fights. The 27-year-old has secured three of his victories by way of stoppage.

In Zavala, he faces an opponent who, like him, has yet to suffer a loss. The Mexican has seven wins under his belt and, in his bout against Tiafack, will have the chance to showcase his skills on a bigger international stage. The German is full of anticipation ahead of his U.S. debut. “I’m hyped and more than ready to put on a show as a pro on American soil,” Tiafack said. “I’ve worked my butt off to make sure the fans get their money’s worth. I can’t wait to step into the ring and deliver.”

In the main event of the evening, Amanda Serrano will defend her WBA and WBO women’s featherweight world titles against Lucrecia Manzur. At the same time, the Puerto Rican is chasing the all-time knockout record in women’s boxing. The entire fight card is set to be broadcast live on TikTok LIVE. For Tiafack, this presents not only an opportunity to continue his winning streak but also to showcase himself to a large international audience.
