Update: Trilogy is set! Usyk vs. Fury 2026 at Wembley

Tyson Fury has set a date for his comeback against Usyk: The trilogy is scheduled to take place at Wembley on April 18, 2026 – provided the Ukrainian beats Dubois.

Tyson Fury is adding more fuel to the rumor mill surrounding his possible return to the ring: The “Gypsy King” has put a concrete date and location for a third fight against Oleksandr Usyk into play for the first time via social media. Under a picture of the two heavyweight greats, Fury wrote: “April 18, 2026, Wembley Stadium – the trilogy!”

This not only sends a clear signal that Fury has not yet ended his career for good, but also that he is out for a very specific rematch. After two defeats to the unbeaten Ukrainian – a narrow points defeat in May 2024 and a more emphatic verdict in December of the same year – Fury sees his chance to close the chapter for good.

However, the focus is still on Usyk’s upcoming duel with IBF champion Daniel Dubois, which will also take place at Wembley Stadium on July 19. Usyk had already defeated Dubois by technical knockout in round nine in 2023. Should he triumph again, nothing would stand in the way of a third and possibly final chapter between Fury and Usyk next spring. It remains to be seen whether the trilogy will actually take place – but the stage is set for the next big heavyweight spectacle.

All the more bitter for the German heavyweight Agit Kabayel, who as WBC interim world champion certainly had one eye on a fight against the winner of the Dubois-Usyk fight. If a trilogy were to take place, the “Liver King” would probably have to take a back seat again.
