On July 19, the boxing world will be looking to London with bated breath when Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois fight for the undisputed world championship at Wembley Stadium. BOXSPORT provides the ultimate 12-round check.

In the summer of 2023, Daniel Dubois went down in Wroclaw after a right jab from heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk in the ninth round – and had himself counted out. Dubois felt bitterly cheated because the referee had counted one of his hard body punches as a low blow four rounds earlier and had given Usyk a break instead of counting the champion out. Since then, the Brit has been craving revenge. He will get it on July 19, at home in London, in the legendary Wembley Stadium.
One thing is clear: Usyk will be facing a different Dubois than two years ago. The 27-year-old has improved greatly since the knockout disgrace, notching up three wins, winning the IBF belt and knocking out superstar Anthony Joshua. Will the premium version of “Dynamite” Dubois succeed in knocking the heavyweight king off his throne and become the undisputed champion? Or will Usyk take the “Undisputed” crown for the third time in his career?
BOXSPORT provides the big 12-round check, from physicality and punch hardness to the much-cited “taker qualities”. The 10-point must system applies – the winner of a round gets 10 points, the loser 9.
Round 1: Physique

Usyk has not yet shown any signs of wear and tear, but the question arises as to whether the ravages of time will begin to gnaw away at the 38-year-old at some point.
10:9 Dubois
Round 2: Experience
A clear winner for boxing veteran Usyk. The Ukrainian draws on a wealth of experience from 350 amateur fights and has been a prizefighter for twelve years. Dubois turned professional in 2017 at the age of 18 after a short amateur career in the juniors. Although the Brit has fought a few fights on the big stage, he has not fought as many at top level as Usyk.
10:9 Usyk
Round 3: Impact hardness
Certainly: Usyk can also reach, as the southpaw impressively proved against Tyson Fury. In terms of power, however, he has the edge over Dubois. Triple-D …
