ECB heavyweight Victor Faust will take on Mirko Tintor on the P2M undercard with the main fight between Meinke and Bermudez.
Next Saturday, EC Boxing’s heavyweight figurehead will be back in the ring. Ukrainian Victor Faust will fight in the legendary Hamburg sports hall at an event organized by P2M Box-Promotion. Faust, for whom his promoter Erol Ceylan has already organized major fights in the USA, was last in the ring in February.
“It’s not easy to get Victor out of Ukraine all the time. It takes a lot of bureaucracy and permits from the authorities for him to be allowed to leave the country and box. We are happy and grateful to have found a Hamburg promoter in P2M who has given Victor a place on the card. He is due to make a big fight in December. That’s why we wanted him to get active again now and gain competition practice,” said ECB promoter Erol Ceylan.
Victor Faust will now face Mirko Tintor on the undercard of the IBF world championship fight between Nina Meinke and Daniela Romina Bermudez. The fight is scheduled for six rounds. Tintor has 16 wins in 26 fights and is a well-known gatekeeper in Germany. Faust is looking for his 13th win in his 14th fight as a professional boxer.
