Boxing gala in XXL format: On Saturday (March 15), an extra-long fight night will take place in Schwerin’s Palmberg Arena. Before defending champions BC Traktor Schwerin welcome BC Chemnitz for a rematch in the German Boxing League, the state championships for elite boxers will be held in the afternoon.

BC Traktor Schwerin is already in the final of the Bundesliga. With a win against the Chemnitzer Box-Wölfe(the first leg in Saxony ended 11:9 for the BCT), Traktor wants to move into first place in the two play-offs against BC Marburg, who are also already confirmed as finalists. Then the team from Schwerin could play the final rematch at home in the Palmberg Arena. Traktor CEO Frank Kleinsorg is certain: “The Chemnitz Wolves will definitely put up a spirited fight once again and try to surprise us. Our motto is: ‘Defending the title! We still have a lot of hard work ahead of us.”

A total of eight finals will be held at the elite national championships after a supporting fight. Twelve Traktor fighters are in the finals, including several well-known athletes from the national boxing league. Four of the finals will be contested by Traktor boxers from Schwerin and the Hamburg Traktor base in Eilbeck. In addition to the club-internal fights, four Traktor boxers will face two athletes from Phoenix Stralsund and one fighter each from Pommern Stralsund and PSV Rostock. The MV-Championat is organized by the DBV-Landesverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

The ticket prices for the boxing gala double-header will remain the same as for a Bundesliga fight night.
