Tyron Zeuge (29-2-1, 16 knockouts) wants to give it another go! The former WBA super middleweight world champion will step into the ring on September 13 in Kolding, Denmark, against unbeaten local hero Jacob Bank (16-0, 8 knockouts). At stake is the vacant WBO Global title – and for Zeuge much more: the way back to the international top.

After his successful comeback in January against Serhat Parlak, Zeuge has regrouped both athletically and mentally. “I feel really free for the first time in my life. I’m ready for big fights – and this is one of them,” said the Berlin native confidently. He sees the fight in Denmark as a “decisive step” on his way back to the top of the world.

The 24-year-old Dane Jacob Bank is regarded as a great talent, is already ranked 6th in the WBO and boxed his way into the limelight with victories over Ronny Landaeta, Ralfs Vilcans and Hernan Perez. But against an experienced former world champion like Zeuge, this fight is also a real yardstick for him. “I wasn’t invited to Denmark to be there – I’m coming to win,” Zeuge makes clear. It is a duel that promises a lot in terms of both sport and atmosphere.
