Altin Zogaj returns to the ring at the end of February to fight Alexander Rigas for the WBA Continental Europe light heavyweight title in the main event. The two southern German boxers will deliver a highly exciting duel with national explosiveness. While Zogaj (15-0, 8 knockouts) wants to defend his unblemished record, Rigas (20-2, 9 knockouts) brings plenty of experience and several title wins to the ring.

After his victory over Riccardo Valentino in 2023, Zogaj is fulfilling an explicit wish of his fans with this event, who have been longing for a bigger event in Stuttgart. For Zogaj, who most recently organized exclusive events in Aalen, the fight is not only a sporting milestone, but also a great honour to compete in his hometown once again.

His opponent Alexander Rigas has made a name for himself with victories over well-known boxers, including Felix Sturm’s opponent Benjamin Blindert. However, the move to light heavyweight represents a challenge for him. Zogaj sees himself at a clear advantage due to his physical advantages and technical development.

Top-class undercard with Fai Phannarai

In addition to the main fight, the fight card promises further exciting encounters. Emre Cukur, former EBU title challenger, will face the battle-hardened Ajemi Amani Jr. in the super middleweight division. Fai Phannarai, the ambitious fighter from “Boxen im Norden”, will also step into the ring in Stuttgart.

With a varied undercard and at least nine scheduled fights, the evening promises to be a real boxing highlight in Germany. “As the organizer, it was very important to me that there are good boxers on the fight card and that the spectators are offered attractive fights,” said a very satisfied Zogaj. Tickets are available now.
