AGON boss Ingo Volckmann has secured the rights for the IBF World Championship eliminator between Etinosa Oliha and Kyrone Davis.

AGON Sports has reached an agreement with renowned US promoter Tom Brown and secured the exclusive rights to the IBF World Middleweight Championship eliminator between unbeaten AGON boxer Etinosa Oliha (18-0, 8 knockouts) and US-American Kyrone Davis (18-3-1, 6 knockouts). AGON Sports thus prevented an IBF auction and secured the hosting rights.
The exact date and venue of the event will be announced shortly. AGON Sports is working intensively on the final details to create an optimal stage for this important fight.
Etinosa Oliha: A victory in the World Cup fight
The clash was scheduled by the IBF as an official eliminator. Oliha, who was already IBO world champion, secured this prestigious opportunity with an early victory over Alexander Pavlov in Berlin in September 2024, underlining his ambitions to win the world title.
“We are very pleased that we were able to secure this important fight for Etinosa. We were able to reach an agreement with Tom Brown shortly before the IBF auction. The fight is expected to take place at the end of April. If it works out, it could even be that we organize our first event in Italy. This would be a huge opportunity for Etinosa to present himself in front of his home fans in such an important fight,” said promoter Ingo Volckmann about his Italian protégé.
With this step, AGON Sports is once again underlining its growing international ambitions. And thus strengthens its position as one of the leading boxing stables in Europe. Fans can look forward to a high-class fight in which Etinosa Oliha will face the biggest challenge of his career to date. If “El Chapo” wins, a world championship fight against the current champion Janibek Alimkhanuly awaits him.
