Fists are flying in Zinnowitz! The Fritz Sdunek Memorial 2025 features ten fights and a big tribute to the cult trainer.
On 20 September, the “Fritz Sdunek” sports hall in Zinnowitz will be transformed into a stage for great emotions and hard fists: at the Fritz Sdunek Memorial 2025, the legendary boxing coach will be honored for the eighth time with a top-class fight night.
Iconic coach Uli Wegner travels to the Baltic Sea especially for the event and gives the laudatory speech for his former colleague. Host Winfried Spiering welcomes numerous guests, with actor Eric Spiering, son of the organizer, leading the evening.
Ten professional fights are on the program, including several highlights:
– Nico Tratz from Greifswald fights his second professional fight against Alex Nemeth (Hungary)
– Mohamed Abou-Chaker fights Gabor Gorbichs – his last endurance test before the Junior World Championship fight in November
– Two heavyweight duels with Eyman Chamdid and Ingo Zoche
– Crowd favorite Mohamad Mardenli returns to the ring – will the Berlin model athlete make his 14th knockout in the light heavyweight division? Knockout in his 15th fight?
Admission: 5 p.m., bell: 6 p.m. – an evening that boxing fans should not miss.
