Terri Harper switches to Jake Paul’s MVP – and challenges Caroline Dubois. Is the British lightweight mega-duel about to begin?

Terri Harper, current WBO lightweight world champion, has officially signed with Most Valuable Promotions(MVP). And thus immediately rekindled the fire for a possible British mega-duel with Caroline Dubois. Harper (16-2-2, 6 knockouts) announced “only big fights” on social media and issued a direct challenge to the sister of heavyweight Daniel Dubois: “Caroline Dubois, let’s go!”
Dubois, reigning WBC lightweight world champion (11-0-1, 5 knockouts), didn’t let the challenge go unanswered for long: “It takes two to tango, champ. I want this fight next.” This brings a unification fight between the two unbeaten British stars closer. Even if Harper is now promoted by MVP and Dubois continues to be promoted by Boxxer.
MVP, under the direction of Jake Paul, has become the biggest platform for women’s boxing in recent months and already boasts an impressive line-up with stars such as Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner and Savannah Marshall. Harper’s move could pave the way for one of the biggest duels in British women’s boxing – perhaps as early as 2025, but no later than next year.
