That’s how many millions of live streams were accessed on Netflix at peak times during the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson.

The fight on November 15 between internet star Jake Paul and boxing legend Mike Tyson was a huge commercial success, especially for the streaming service Netflix. However, the streaming platform’s servers were knocked out even before the boxing spectacle and the transmission problems caused a lot of annoyance among customers.

Only Canelo had more

The boxing event at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas (USA), almost set another record: With 72,300 spectators, Paul vs. Tyson became the second largest indoor boxing event in the history of the USA. Only Canelo Alvarez ‘s fight against Billy Joe Saunders (May 2021) attracted an even bigger crowd with 73,126 spectators.
