Tim Vößing meets Erdogan Kadrija at the Colosseum in Essen on November 23. In addition to the main fight, spectators can expect exciting debuts at the SES Boxing Gala.

The SES Boxing Galaat the Colosseum in Essen next weekend promises to be an absolute highlight. The focus of the evening will be the fight for the WBA Europe cruiserweight title. Local hero Tim Vößing (14-0, 6 knockouts) will face the experienced Erdogan “Big Edi” Kadrija from Hamburg (21-6, 13 knockouts). The unbeaten fighter from the Ruhr region, who has already won the WBO Junior World Champion title and the International German Champion belt in the past, is eager for his next big success. “I want to win this third title in my home town and reward the months of hard work,” explains the 26-year-old full-time boxer and promotion student. His coach Sebastian Tlatlik is enthusiastic about Vößing’s ambition: “Tim combines competitive sport and studying in an impressive way. This title would be the crowning glory of his career so far.” Kadrija has twice the fighting experience and a strong KO record. The fight promises to be an intense duel between two top German athletes.

In addition to the main fight, there are also other fights worth seeing on the program. Simon Kapplinghaus, a 16-year-old up-and-coming heavyweight talent, will be making his debut. The 193 cm tall Velbert native is regarded as one of the most exciting young talents in German boxing. Nico Göer (super middleweight), Patrick “Hightower” Schäfer (heavyweight), Julian Henze (middleweight) and Sudemaz Karadogan, who is making her debut at flyweight, will also be in the ring.
