Magdeburg-based promotion SES Boxing has everything ready for the boxing gala on Saturday (November 22, 2025) at “Kraftverkehr” in Chemnitz. In the ring, Artur Reis will fight for the WBO European Championship belt against Mateusz Tryc at light heavyweight. Cruiserweight Armend Xhoxhaj also wants to win a European Championship title in Chemnitz, challenging Finland’s Niklas Räsänen. “It’s also like revenge for us”
Artur Reis: “You could see with Mateusz Tryc that he’s a tough guy, he doesn’t give up and he fights. He always goes forward, but he doesn’t like to go backwards. For us, it’s also something like revenge. De will do everything in my power to bring the title back to Germany!”
Coach Dirk Dzemski: “I’ve seen Mateusz Tryc so often in the video that I don’t want to see him again for the time being. Joking aside: in short, we’re well prepared for anything Mateusz can throw at us. Artur put his all into training, there were no complications, so I’m sure he’ll win the title!”
“I have a duty as defending champion”
Mateusz Tryc“I had twelve weeks of good preparation, we implemented everything we had in mind. We are now looking ahead to Saturday. As the defending champion, it’s my duty to shape the fight so that I win and defend my title.”
Armend Xhoxhaj: “The Finn is a strong man. But I know what I can do, I know how to win after the good preparation. I’m in top shape, I’ll get the belt!”
Coach Mete Alijaj: “Our motto is: If you brake, you lose! And Armend has no brakes and he can also take it. We are sure that we will win!”
