Two AGON boxers, two title chances: Hamsat Shadalov and Paul Wall face landmark tasks on Saturday.

This Saturday, two promising AGON pros are set to take important career steps. At the 10th International Professional Boxing Gala organized by promoter Almin Kuc in Falkensee, Hamsat Shadalov and Paul Wall will fight for major titles and want to confirm their strong development in recent months.
Hamsat Shadalov is in contention for the International German Super Featherweight Championship. The unbeaten Berlin fighter will face Kanan Huseynaliyev, who is also still undefeated and comes from Magdeburg with twelve wins from twelve fights. It is a duel between two ambitious boxers who want to defend their unblemished record.
Shadalov prepared for his 13th professional outing together with his teammate and long-time friend Paul Wall at the AGON Gym in Mallorca. There they trained under optimal conditions and worked with high-quality sparring partners. “The preparation went perfectly. We had very good sparring partners in Mallorca and were able to prepare perfectly. My opponent has twelve fights and twelve wins, he’s an experienced man. I think it will be a very interesting fight for German boxing fans. But I won’t give up my zero!” says Shadalov confidently.
The AGON boxer is particularly looking forward to the atmosphere back home: “We’re looking forward to boxing in the region again in front of our family and friends. Fights like this in front of your own people are always something special.”
Wall faces “real endurance test”
The biggest challenge of his young professional career to date awaits Paul Wall. In his 12th professional fight, the Berlin native will box the experienced Italian Damiano Falcinelli for the IBF European middleweight title. Falcinelli has a record of 17 wins, three defeats and two draws and has already been in the ring with numerous well-known opponents.

Wall, who recently impressed with strong performances and won his first international title, sees the fight as an important touchstone on his way to the top: “This is a real test of endurance. My last opponent was already very experienced, but this one has even more experience and always delivers tough fights. This is exactly the kind of challenge I need,” says Wall.
For the AGON boxer, this is not only his first major European title, but also an important signal to the competition. “I’m delighted that I can now fight for the European Championship. This is my first really big title at European level. I want to show that I have the potential to be one of the best in the world.” The Berlin is correspondingly confident about the fight: “I’ve had the best preparation of my career so far. We’re well prepared, I’m one hundred percent ready and I’m really keen to deliver on Saturday.”
Top-class boxing evening
The collaboration between AGON Sports and event organizer Almin Kuc has already produced several high-quality sporting events in recent years. This time too, spectators in Falkensee can look forward to two top-class title fights with AGON involvement, where important decisions will be made for the future careers of Hamsat Shadalov and Paul Wall. Tickets are still available from ETIX.
