Now it’s official: Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather have agreed on a spectacular show fight duel in spring 2026! Two weeks after the announcement of Gervonta Davis vs. Jake Paul , the boxing world will be presented with the next crazy event.
As TMZ Sports first reported, both legends have already signed the contracts – although an exact date or venue has yet to be set. One thing is certain: it will be a pure show fight, which is already being advertised as one of the “most important and fascinating events in boxing history”. “I can hardly believe that Floyd really wants to do this,” Tyson told TMZ. “It will be detrimental to his health. But if he wants it – it’s signed and it’s happening.”
Tyson (58), former heavyweight champion, weighs in at over 100 kilos – Mayweather (48), unbeaten former champion with a 50-0 record, last fought at around 72 kilos. It is still unclear how the weight difference will be settled. Mayweather commented on the spectacle: “I’m the best in the boxing business. And when I do something, it becomes legendary.”
