Julian Vogel and Sami Ahmeti want to make up for their draw – and deliver an emotional rematch for the WBO Youth World Championship on Saturday.

The countdown is on: SES Boxing returns to Halle on Saturday with a big gala – and the focus is on the explosive rematch between Julian Vogel and Sami Ahmeti. After their first fight in September ended in a controversial draw, the clear winner is now to be determined in the Sparkassen-Eisdom.
WBO Junior World Champion Vogel is confident ahead of the second duel. “It will be a great fight and I’ll keep my title,” explained the man from Aschersleben at the press conference in Schkeuditz. Challenger Ahmeti, on the other hand, announced: “The belt has to go to Plattling.”
The second main bout will also be a tough one. After Artur Reis withdrew due to injury, Adam Deines stepped in at short notice to fight Poland’s Mateusz Tryc for the vacant WBO European light heavyweight championship. Deines wants to use the opportunity to attack the world’s best once again.
The SES Gala will be rounded off by further professional fights with heavyweight talent Michel Dobler, young professional Arminius Rolle and the professional debut of Silvio Schierle. Five up-and-coming boxers from Halle will also enter the ring. MDR will broadcast the fight live.
