Fabio Wardley defends his WBO title against Daniel Dubois on May 9. DAZN will be showing the British heavyweight clash live.

The boxing weeks on DAZN continue with the next heavyweight highlight. On May 9, WBO world champion Fabio Wardley and former IBF champion Daniel Dubois will meet at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. The motto of the evening fits the pairing: “Don’t Blink”.
Wardley steps into the ring as regular WBO champion for the first time after Oleksandr Usyk relinquished the belt. The unbeaten Briton had previously secured the interim title with a T.K.O. victory over Joseph Parker. Dubois wants to return to the world title throne after his defeat to Usyk and also brings a huge knockout threat with him. Together, the two heavyweights have 40 knockouts from 42 wins – a clear indication that the fight could tip at any time. The undercard also offers interesting duels, including Jack Rafferty against Ekow Essuman and Liam Cameron against Bradley Rea.
DAZN will broadcast the fight evening from 7.30 pm with commentator Uli Hebel and experts Bernd Bönte and Andreas Selak. The preliminaries start at 5 pm.
