Frank Warren has no doubt: for him, a possible “Battle of Britain” will end with a clear knockout in favor of the “Gypsy King”.

More than a week after Anthony Joshua’s much-watched victory over Jake Paul, the next big heavyweight topic is being stirred up again: an all-British showdown with Tyson Fury. For Fury’s long-term promoter Frank Warren, one thing is certain – the end would come early “Tyson will knock him out. I’m sure of it,” said Warren on the Sky Sports podcast Toe2Toe. His reasoning is clear: Joshua is beatable, whereas Fury is a “real fighter” with punch, chin and exceptional recovery ability. “Tyson has been down and come back when everyone thought it was over. That’s what sets him apart.”
Joshua’s performance against Paul did nothing to change Warren’s assessment. Although the 36-year-old stopped the YouTuber with ease in round six, Warren believes Joshua remains vulnerable – similar to before his knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois in September 2024. “I’m just as confident as I was back then,” said Warren.
A direct fight between Fury and Joshua is not yet fixed. Both camps are initially expecting interim fights before concrete negotiations on the date, venue and fees take place. However, the words from the Fury camp leave no doubt: Should the duel take place, Warren expects a clear statement – in favor of his protégé.
