The mega evening in Miami has been canceled! The world championship fight between Leïla Beaudoin and Alycia Baumgardner has also been postponed indefinitely.

The scandal surrounding Gervonta “Tank” Davis has far-reaching consequences: Following the new allegations of domestic violence against the US star, the Netflix event planned for November 14 in Miami has now been completely canceled at short notice. This also affects the world championship fight between Leïla Beaudoin and Alycia Baumgardner, which was to take place as a co-main event. “Of course it’s disappointing, but I see it as a positive,” says Beaudoin. “I get more time to prepare even better – stronger, more precise, more determined. My goal remains the same.”
Beaudoin (13-1, 2 knockouts) wanted to fight the unified world champion Alycia Baumgardner (16-1, 7 knockouts) for the WBA, WBO and IBF super featherweight titles – in a twelve-round fight with three-minute rounds, a rarity in women’s boxing.
Promoter Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) confirmed that the event will still take place on Netflix in 2025 – but with a new date, location and opponent for Jake Paul. Fans who have already purchased tickets for the show at the Kaseya Center will automatically receive a refund via Ticketmaster, according to the promoter.
