Nelvie Tiafack opens the main undercard at the “Kabayel Homecoming” with a statement. The heavyweight ends the unequal duel with Piotr Cwik in round two.

What a start to the evening! The Olympic bronze medal winner from Paris, Nelvie Tiafack, dominates his opponent Piotr Cwik right from the start. In round one, the Pole is still able to keep his guard up, which means that Tiafack’s hard fists do not find their target at first. In addition, Cwik keeps ducking away and complaining about blows to the back of Tiafack’s head. But he is not deterred by this and continues to press on the gas. A small moment of shock at the end of the first round: during the clinch, both boxers fall to the ring floor – no knockdown, the referee indicates immediately. Then round one is over.
Things move quickly in round two. Cwik tries to throw the Cologne-born fighter off balance with a few niggles – including a low blow. But Tiafack doesn’t seem to care at all and continues to press the gas pedal. His hard combinations put more and more pressure on Cwik until he finally goes down. The 42-year-old just manages to get back to his feet, but is already well and truly knocked down. Seconds later, Cwik is down again, this time for good. Tiafack thus celebrates his third knockout victory in his third professional fight. In the ring interview, he first thanks the main protagonist of the evening: “Without Agit, none of us would be here.”
